Anne Rice has been writing for the genre for quite some time. I remember taking her on quite a scary, demanding voyage once, and her suspense was enough to make me often forget that I should put the book  But if you are into the genre, some of these stories will keep your throat feeling very sensitive as you turn the compelling pages.Here's a great selection of her tales. I confess, I didn't know she had written so many vampire stories. So, so far, I have only read a couple of them.
